Fights, sticks clash, everything to do with ice hockey.
The graphics in this are brilliant, after the first half, you can see the scratch marks on the ice. The controls are pretty much like any other sports game. You can switch between player quickly with the press of a button. You can even check the other players into the side railings. But all this checming and tripping of other players, will cause the opposition team to get angrier and angrier. Thus causing the fights.
There is a pretty good story mode, you have to go through the season beating other teams in away and home games. If you win a certain amount of games in a row, you will unlock some bonus points. Bonus points can be used to buy vintage gerseys and different areanas to play at.
Another feature of the game is you can create your own player and team. All this however will impact on the amount of space left on your memory card. It all takes up about 1000KB. It will only take that much space if you create a team, a player and start a season.
NHL 2K5 has all the fights and quick scored goals you know and love. If you really love your hockey you should get this game.
