I wanted to give this game the benefit of the doubt, but its just to far away from being good. I love the idea of this game, but the wrong people are doing it. It would be one thing if a big company like EA or Sega took the idea of making a baseball game online that allowed each player the oppurtunity to create a character and progress through the minor leagues ect. Those companies have experience and have learned a lot about how to make a solid baseball game. Unfortuantly, it was a company that has really no familarity with making a baseball game and it shows. What this means is you get graphics out of the old school such as the typical "cut and paste" fans. The gameplay is in need of some serious improvements to even be playable for example the balls mechanics are aweful. The sound is nothing at all and not even worth having speakers. The game has some lasting appeal since it offers a system of gradually moving up to the big leagues and forming a team. I am sure that Netamin will have updates to work to improve this game, but it will require a lot of updates to reach the big leagues.
