Underrated, but still just awful. Only play it when you're bored.

User Rating: 4.5 | E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial 2600
I am going to review a bad game that most of you already know. That's right: E.T. for the Atari 2600.

The story is the same as the movie. Simple as that.

The gameplay is already awful. You need to go around an area picking up telephone pieces. There is a limit on how long you can stay in the area, but it is not counted by time; it is counted by the amount of steps you take. There is a scientist that drags you to a lab, and then you can move again. A F.B.I. agent steals your telephone pieces. Picking up Reese's Pieces can call Elliot to give E.T. a telephone piece.

The worst part is the pits. There are pits EVERYWHERE! When you fall in, it is really difficult to get out. Furthermore, trying to get out takes a lot of step limit and a pit is always near you.

The sound is mediocre. There is only music in the title screen, and the rest of the sound is repetitive.

The graphics is the only redeeming quality. The graphics are decent and colorful.

Overall, don't get this game if you want fun.
