What happened to what was one of the best fighter games? ( Real score 5.6)
Story 7/10: Each of the characters lived a very short life, now they get a 2nd chance to help stop what caused their deaths in the 1st place. People from the past, present, and future come to fight. You dont find a story like this anywhere else
Gameplay 6/10: Its your standard fighting game, lots of punches and kicks. Each character has their own set of moves and their own special moves that are pretty cool but very hard to perform. It requires skill for some moves and even as you earn that skill, its still not easy to combine moves.
Single player 1/10: This is were the game took a nosedive. The computer opponents are able to read every move or button presses action you make. You either are tossed back or injured and when you think youll get an attack in....they block so it does little or no dammage. The only way to have any chance of progressing is to use a cheap attack over and over, which is not fun at all.
Multiplayer 8/10: Its still alot of fun with a human oppenent cause the combat still works, it even includes nice final death scens if you knock an oppenent out and they fall in the right place. Scenes like the fallen body get electricuted or eaten by a creature.
Graphcs 7/10: All the graphics at least look nice from chracter design to stage backrounds, but it seems to be really choppy animation.
I would only recommend this to people who want to play multiplayer. WIth siblings, freinds and family, its a blast but otherwise its just a disgrace to the name Eternal Champions
