Overall This is a great title and one of the best for the Gamecube. It is one of, if not the best game of it's genre.

Eternal Darkness. The first game that actually tricks you into believing something has happened, but in actuality it's not really happening. You begin the game as Alexandria Rovias, who's grandfather has been mysteriously killed. Being bold, she decides to go to her grandfather's mansion and try to make out how this happened. While in the mansion she stumbles upon a strange book...The Tome of Eternal Darkness. While reading the book she reads strange and mysterious stories that eventually tie to her own family and to her grandfather. Over the course of the game you will play with 12 characters, each with their own magic, weapons, and recovery items. The characters are spread out through history. The game plays very well too, button layouts are perfectly balanced, and you can fully control your player, unlike Resident Evil. The game is so vast and immersive due to the numerous charters you play as throughout the game. Eternal Darkness eventually takes about 20-30 hours to complete and is enjoyable all the way through. The graphics in the game start out decent but as you progress in the game the graphics get remarkably better. The only problem I had with the graphics was that some of the character models were a bit choppy, but the lighting effects and atmosphere of the game made up for it. Overall this is a great title and one of the best for the Gamecube. It is one of, if not the best game of it's genre.
