Eternal Darkness is one of my favorite games ever released on the Gamecube. Any game that has an opening screen that quotes Edgar Allen Poe is a winner in my book. (I'm a huge Poe fan!) This game had me engrossed in the story from start to finish and had the gameplay to keep me coming back for multiple romps. The best part of this game hands down in the inclusion of the sanity meter. If you get low, the world starts to look funny. If you partake in spirits in the real world, be careful playing this game. It has a number of interesting ways of tripping you out. I won't spoil the fun. If you have a GameCube and haven't picked this up, go out and pick it up. It is well worth the price of admission.
