Very good in the beginning, but depressive in the end. No for 12+ kids, more suitable for people 18+.

It's a very colourful and musical game. The game has its strong and weak sides, but overall it was fun to play. It got boring for me somewhere at 1/3 of the story, but after some time I liked it again. Story is very original and strange at the same time. Some people the main theme of the story can find as depressive and the end and all that Japanese life's philosophy can be very hard to understand for Europeans and especial for kids at age 12+ ;) Actually I wanted to say to the author of the story that you can say whatever you want people will understand it differently, i.e. not the way the author meant it ;)
Pros:
* Graphics, music, sfx.
* Level design.
* Characters.
* Battles.
Cons:
* Dialogs - there are pauses in characters' conversations, and I really don't get it why characters speak with 2-5 second intervals.
* Depressive end of the story - too much death imo.
* I got only 120 achievement point after finishing the main story. I guess it's not fair.
I really enjoyed Eternal Sonata and some day going to play it through one more time to collect all achievement points, but I doubt I want to play Eternal Sonata II if it will be released some day.
