Hardcore Sci-fi geeks, Economics majors, and PVP'ers need only apply. While EVE Online is a demanding game with a large learning curve it can be an enjoyable and engaging experience to those who stick with it. There are NO ELVES OR CUTE GNOMES in this game! I advise those interested in participating in the EVE universe to download the free 10 day trial first and do the in-game tutorial. Then buy this game for the extras you'll need to start a new account and join a corp who can introduce you to a whole world of exploration and hurt. Note that if you are an existing subscriber the special content such as the shuttle included in the Special Edition retail package will not be applicable. CCPAtari really screwed existing players on this one, imo. I've been playing EVE for almost two of it's 5 year lifespan. he way CCP puts out updates and free expansions will certainly keep EVE going for many, many more years to come.
