After playing EVE for about a year (and playing Guild Wars and Vendetta Online) I would say that EVE is definitely my favorite. The community, as previously mentioned, is top notch, mature, and pretty much is one of the games greatest assets. Also, being in a 0.0 Alliance opens up a whole new world of roleplaying and politics. Eve is also pretty easy to run windowed so your can run a web browser or another windowed game (if you system can handle it) and still keep an eye on your mining and any potential threats. The graphics, sound and music are also high caliber, they still look fresh after about 2 years, I still admire the designs. Pvp, as I said before, is pretty unrestricted, but there are safeguards in the empire systems
