I was genuily surprised at how good this game is, and shocked at how bad the reviews made it look.

Introduction:
For those who do not know, Everquest 2 is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) and it is only meant for people who wish to have a good, immersive, interesting world with a strong active community of people, so for all the people who wish to be left alone and hate online play, pass this one up. In fact, if you do not want any of the things I just mentioned above, just leave the entire series and genre alone. I am going to list some pros, cons, and then I will sum it up in a conclusion.

Pros:
- Immersive world.
- Massive world, and I mean gigantic.
- Over 8,000 quest, so plenty to do in this game.
- Active friendly community.
- The world has different types of scenery like an icy tundra, a thick jungle, a desert plane.
- The tutoral works seemlessly into the gameplay
- Truly, non-linear.
-Replay value is up there.
- Now, with Everquest 2 Extended you do not have to pay subscrition fees.
-You can buy only the stuff you want with a Silver or Bronze account.
-The servers are full and lively,
- it is the exact same game as pay to play
Cons:
-There are some limitations to the Extended Free to Play version.
-You can spend hours on this game without knowing it.

Conclusion:
The game is fun, plain and simple. Despite the limitation they put on free to play accounts, those are not breaking the game by any stretch of the imagination. You can always purchase the races and classes that are included with the subscription version, and spend about $15-20 less then subscribing, and never have to pay again, but if you want all of that you might just go ahead and subscribe to Gold on the server and get it for $15 a month. Personally, I intend to just buy what I want and not subscribe. The other con is not really a con if you know how to manage your time well, but I don't and I had to scrutnize as much as I do in other games. Considering that you get to pick your staring city, your one of 19 races in total and your one of 24 classes in total, this game has high marks from me and is the first MMO that I would want to play again.
