A great game to play or kill some time but lacks that something special.

Pros: This game starts out great and has great game play. It has some very colorful and moody environments and the characters, Ash and Sam, have personalities that make them the perfect duo. The weapons used have variety and powers that satisfy most gunslinger and trigger happy gamers. The witty banter sprinkled around is amusing and entertaining especially if you get stuck or it just takes a long time to get to where you're going. Plus, the cut-scenes are hilarious and should not be skipped through. They are worth the 3 min or less to watch.
Cons: The main thing I was disappointed in was the ending. Approximately 18 hours to finish and THAT'S the ending I get? I'm left hanging! I'm utterly confused about what just happened with Ash and Sam. Also the enemies sadly are repetitive. You have to hack and slash through mostly the same onslaught of bad guys on every level. The game is also pretty easy to get through. Not much of a challenge.
Overall: Rent this game before you buy it. It may not be the adrenaline rush you're looking for.
