I was always a fan of old school 8 bit excite bike, and let me tell you I just had a blast with this addition to the series. This time you're racing from a first person perspective in a fully 3D world. You've still got your standard gas button, and your boost button, which if over used will cause your bike to over heat and you'll have to sit on the side of the track for a bit while it cools down. The controls are pretty hard to get used to, I found myself over steering quite a bit at first, but after a little practice I was quite at home. To add to this fun you have different bikes/riders to choose from which vary with respect to top speed, acceleration, handling, skid ability, etc. So pick the bike/rider that suits your driving style. I particularly enjoy the dirt tracks, slide, slide, and slide some more!
