A unique but sluggish new game for the PSP.

The Good: Exit is one of those games that you hate or love. For some good reasons I actually love it. It's one those games that appear out of nowhere and catches your eye with it's crisp comic book style cell shaded graphics and fluid animations. The gameplay is simple but complex at the sametime while you try to figure out ways to help people escape from burning buildings, flooded subways etc. (I say etc. because those are the only two I've experianced so far). There are a ton of stages in the game (100+)and everyone of them different than the next, so you'll be playing it as long as your tolerance can handle...

The Bad: ...the sluggish frustrating controls. This really hampers the gameplay in every way. Many times I have failed a puzzle do the reaction time of the jump button! It will drive you nuts ecspecially when you finally figure out how to solve a puzzle. Another thing that is really annoying is the slow animations. Many of the characters, including Mr. Esc, move slower than sap. The AI can sometimes be way to specific at some points which makes your work harder and unpredictable. Oh the sound: mute it!

The Ugly: This game desparately needs an "UNDO" button for those many "oops" situations.

Final: Exit is not for everyone but if you are a puzzle junkie and you have a lot of patience I say check it out. It's a great concept that disserves a improve sequel. All I know is that I would move a lot faster if I was in a burning building!
