Reminds me of old-school 8-bit shooting games like Contra, except with much better graphics.

Expendable is nice and simple. You walk around, pick up weapons, and shoot aliens. Every once in a while you have to find a key to open a gate or release a hostage, but it's not difficult. It's a great game if you just want to relax, not think too hard, and just enjoy the action.

It had a third person point of view, although it's nearly a top down point of view. It has an arcade style to it, a 2nd player can jump in at any time to help out in a co-op mode. Some of the levels can be pretty tough, with what seems like a nonstop barrage of enemies, and then you have the bosses at the end. But that's what cheats are for, and this game has some decent ones. Overall, there's nothing spectacularly original about this game. But it's a solid game with decent graphics, no bugs or glitches that I noticed, and a decent ending. Good, old-school fun.
