Xtreme G 2 is the sequel the futuristic racing game for the N64. This game is a sequel, but it lacked a lot of the things the first one had. But first, the good parts of this game. The graphics in the game have been improved for everything. From the bikes to the courses, the game has improved there. The amount of courses drastically increased, the variety of weapons improved slightly, and the bikes were good. Now the downfall of this game. The amount of bikes to choose from seemed less than the first one, most of the surroundings for each of the courses wasn't to different. The AI wasn't as smart as the first one. One thing that this game did do better in this one was the multiplayer. That was improved, but it isn't enough to call this game a sequel. Because of the amount of bikes you can choose was small, there wasn't as much diversity as there was in the first one. If your a fan of this series, you can buy this one, but it may not be worth it. This game could have been better but sadly, it did not turn out so good.
