This is a surefire must have racer for the GBA
F-Zero is a racer in which you fly through courses in a hover car at speeds of 100 kmh. Wether you are racing in Grand Prix or earning cash by cahsing villians in story mode or even trying to beat missions in numerous cars this racer will keep you on your toes. The high speeds will take you over the edge. I mean taking courners at 800kmh is a pretty tough ride.
GP is the overall game. You get to race full tilt in different cups with enemies trying to smash you into the side walls. You can choose many charecters with differnet stats for boost, grip, and body. You can earn numerous vehicals by winning cups. After taking damage you can heal up through a power strip to regain that long lost energy. You can take mega jumps and boost through straight aways. There are hair pin courners and nascar straight. GP will keep you happy for eternity.
Now lets get down to the mission. Here all you do is try to beat a time limit with certain cars. This can definitley help you on your game. This is a rather bland factor to the game. The missions are all the same "beat this time with this car." Wheres the bashing and crashing we all love deep down in our hearts.
Well now whats story all about. You earn monney and race a rival. Well I have yet to figure out what the money is for considering I like to play Grand Prix more than race one person through a single track. Well this is not the best part of the game at all.
Multiplayer I have yet to try but according to the box you can play 4 people on one game with a link cable.
If you have to bust out and beat someone elses time in time trials it's there to. You can try to beat those friends records throgh every course playable with the charecters you've unlocked.
This racer looks good and is a shurefire buy for a gba owner looking for a new racer. The sound is good and the music is old F-Zero fun. Don't buy it for the graphics or sound though buy it for the full tilt gameplay.
