The truth about F1 2010! Full of bugs that can makes you smash your surroundings!

This is a revised review.
In my first review I wrote that I kinda liked the game. Sure, it had its flaws, but I was tolerant and gave the game a 8/10

BUT, after playing a whole season I started to get grey hair and sore knuckles!

Yeah, sure, the game is nice to look at, and the handling isn't the best but pretty good for a semi-sim game.
It's the BUGS that really annoys me!

First of all, I started in a Lotus. At some grand prix's it was pretty easy to get in top 5 places and at others it was a struggle to get in top 15.
It shouldn't be that easy to get in top 5 in a lotus!

The pit-stops are a nightmare. It' all automated, so when you enter the pits you're just a passenger. When the pit-crew has finished your stop then you have to be released from the box. IF there's a car in sight in the pit-lane (note: no matter the distance to your box, 200 yards, 10 yards, doesn't matter) your being held up until the car has passed you. NOW, if the half field decides to pit at the same lap as you, EVEN if you're the leader of the bunch, be sure that you'll end up last when you exit the pit!

If you're a fan of punctured tires, then buy this game! I get approximately 2-3 punctures during a weekend without reason!
It could happen on the first lap on fresh tires and I'm the first on track in P1! SUCKS!

The engineer keeps saying the same things over and over again! It's pretty annoying, especially when he's suggesting that I need to copy my teammate's setup because I'm too slow. First of all I'm ALWAYS faster than my teammate and second, YOU CANNOT COPY THE SETUP!!! There's no such option and you simply can't see your teammate's setup! Brilliant!

Speaking of setups, I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that the 6-7 preset setups that's suggested by the engineer is specifically for the current track. WELL, I've noticed that the preset setups are all the same, no matter track! And, if you're having problems with the setup, you're on your own. The team is not gonna help in any way, except by telling you that you could copy your teammates setup, which is impossible.

And when you're being interviewed by the press, you have multiple (note:3) answers, and they all have different consequences but pretty fast you'll find out what the team would like to hear and what to answer. And this feature really annoys me, because you DO have to answer "the team did a great job today" and "the team provided me a great car with a fantastic setup for the weekend" to make a progress within the game, but the team didn't do ANYTHING to make anything easier for you!

The opponents will drive just as fast in the (beginning of the) race as they did in Q3 even though they're supposed to have full reservoirs. And it's faster to use the softer tyre in light rain than intermediates!?!?

In mid season you have to appoint a rival and if you beat him you'll get his seat. In my case I appointed Hamilton, I beat him and get his seat. The McLaren is soooo easy to drive that if you can't win by miles, then you're a monkey!

In my opinion the McLaren should drive the Lotus I mentioned earlier and the Lotus should be even harder to drive!

All in all, if you have patience and tolerance and like a challenge then it's fun, if not STAY AWAY FROM F1 2010!
