I did not play F1 2010 and to be honest was afraid I would not like this at all. I love Formula 1! I also love sim racing. I did not think I would like this game because I have done mainly rfactor F1 mods and stock car (ARCA Sim Racing and rfactor mods) on PC. I did not think PS3 would ever be enjoyable for F1 racing that wanted to be more of a simulation. I look mainly at the way a racing game performs on the track before anything else like graphics or sound or other aspects. I turned off all the aids right away and within my first lap I knew this game was going to be enjoyable. It is definitely heavy on the sim side as opposed to being arcade-ish. I don't see how anyone could play this without a racing wheel either, so I would highly recommend one for anyone who really wants to enjoy racing in this game, or others for that matter. But for a PS3 game I am extremely impressed. I am sure I could find a lot about this game I could really nit-pick on, but for me all I enjoy is driving characteristics of a racing game that feels at least somewhat realistic, and presents a good challenge. This game definitely does that.
