F1 2011 is supposed to be a Huge-Leap from F1 2010, but is more like a Couple of Steps.
So, first off, The Career Mode, basically the same as last year, the engineer's voice is so annoying, I recommend turning him off straight away. There is no proper introduction to all the various inclusions such as DRS and KERS to newbies, and shows that is defo made for the die-hard fans. This didn't trouble me but is worth a mention.
The Graphics, well the cars look beautiful like they did in 2010, the small tweaks such as the Wheels and Pirelli Tyres. Some of the tracks look better than 2010 and some look worse than 2010.
The Gameplay, So the inclusion of the Safety Car, Don't believe the hype, it is a nice little feature, but does have its bugs, on Online for the first time sure, turn it on to see what is like but then turn it off straight away, It doesn't drive but jigger along like the AI online too. The Game is pretty much like 2010 but with all the additions, the Pit Stops are better amongst other things, the AI actually battle you don't sit in one straight racing line like Gran Turismo 5. The Game times though, with barely practicing around Singapore me and my friends have done times 10 seconds quicker than what Vettel did for Pole today.
The New Handling, it sure boy is a handful, to begin with its like the car is on an icing rink, bar if you had 2010 or not. I am still fully not up to scratch with the handling system, it is more realistic though as F1 cars need to be tamed.
F1 2011 is a step up from 2010, it does need tweaking hopefully Codemasters are listening, and will come up with some sort of update/patch.
It is still fully worth the full price, for people unconvinced I would still recommend buying it, maybe wait till a few of the haters trade the game in ASAP and you can pick up a basically untouched pre-owned Version.
Love the Game, but would Love it more with all the problems moved.
A possible: 9.5/10
