Extremely cool car handling, sharp car graphics, and realistic atmosphere, BUT... with some EXTREMELY annoying details

I've been playing racing games for more than 20 years and still love them. I haven't picked up a F1 series in AAAGES though, when I saw some videos and reviews about this game I was really excited. So ok, on one side, one the MOST important features of a racing game for me is the car handling. It must be easy enough for non-hardcore gamers and satisying enough for hardcore gamers to master. I think the car handling in this game is superb.

The graphics for the cars are extremely detailed and look reaaaal cool, the graphics for the surroundings are average but well, it's acceptable. One thing that I noticed is the effect that looks really cheap is the rain effect, I don't mean the wet tarmac or the drops on the camera, but the drops falling down look stupid.

Now, I would've given this game a 9 if it wasn't for a couple of extremely annoying features.

1) Ok I love simulation and the more realistic the better, but having to race 14 or 15 laps in a grand prix, without having the option to reduce that amount, really pissed me off. I'ts really hard to be able to concentrate and not make a single mistake during 15 entire laps specially if you are just staring to play!!!

2) On multiplayer, collissions are ALWAYS FULL. This means you do not have the option to switch them off. Meaning its pointless to play on multiplayer because on the very first corner you will have someone smashing into the back of your car and pushing you off track (ALMOST ALWAYS!). So no matter how good you are, this makes the multiplayer a matter of luck, not skill.
