I hate RPGs, but I love Fable

For some reason, I have a history of not liking RPGs. However, Fable is different. I really like this game. I guess one of the reasons why I like Fable is because the combat is not turn based. It is more similar to a hack-and-slash game. You block, and attack whenever you wish. The story is quite good also. It gets you quite involved in the game. The graphics are pretty good, although they are no match to Ninja Gaiden or Riddick. The amount of things that you can do in the game is amazing. You have total freedom to do what ever you want. And, you can be as evil or as nice as you wish (I assume many people chose the evil path-as did I my first time through). The are a large amount of side quests that you can do. Not to mention, you can just go off, get married, and get some loving. While the story is good, it is way too short. Even with the side quests, you could complete this game in less than 10 hours. Also, the sound bites in the game get repetative. Enimies will often say the same thing over and over again. Also, they game is very easy, and occasionaly suffers from slowdown. Even though the game is short, it does have some replay value (to play as the opposite character). I give it a thumbs up.
