Fable: An Short, But Epic, Tale

Out of all the xbox games I have played, I find Fable to be one of the better ones. Having said that, there are just two major parts about the game that brought it's value down. That part was it's legnth..... Not taking any side quests makes this game EXTREMELY short, maybe around 6-8 hours. And even with the side quests, it's still around 10-12 hours, and in my humble opinion, thats just too short. Also, the game is just TOO easy. The first time I played it, I didn't die once. I came close, but never really did. Other than the length and it's insane easyness nothings that bad. Now for the good! Fable's tale is epic. A young boy growing up to be the bravest and strongest hero in all the land. Fables interface is very nice and easy to play with. It's so simple any one can just pick up a controller and hack and slash thier way to victory! The visuals, although they don't push the xbox to it's limits, are very nice through-out the game (Except for an odd bug where the grass turns solid green for a few moments) My favorite part of the game is how you can customise almost EVERYTHING about your character. there are a HUGE ammount of choices for shirts, pants, shoes..hell, you can even give your character diffrent beards, and hair styles! I wouldn't buy Fable, but I would rent it once or twice so you can experence both sides, of the game (the evil, and the good). over all Gameplay: 9//10 Graphics: 9//10 Sound: 9//10 Value: 10//10 Overall: 8.9//10 Letter Grade: A
