Before its release, Fable was predicted to be the greatest game of all time. Though it fell slightly short of that, it was nothing short of incredible. It's not as open ended as many had hoped, like Morrowind or something to that degree, but has an endless possibility of characters to create and ways to play. The story line and gameplay are fantastic, riddled with twists and turns that were loads of fun. Best of all though is the way you can mold your character in so many ways. The basic decision is good or evil, but after that you can go any where from mage, to warrior, to archer, or a combination of all three. I played the game through three times trying out different characters and was never bored because of the different quests you can choose based on your moral preference. There are tons of easter eggs along the way too, that add to the enjoyment you can find throughout Fable, like special swords and armour. The only downfall is that the game was too short and the content not large enough, but that's only because I just couldn't get enough and was always hungry for more. This is a must buy for any and all.
