simply an amazing game
Fable is an outstanding game with many great touches. You start as a young boy who's simple life is crushed and you join the Guild of Heroes. There's alot of small touches that are realy cool. Like if you take many hits and are in battle alot you will have battle scars on you chest and face. And when you age you're hair will turn grey, then white and you will noticibly look older. Also in the story there are cutscenes that are filled with murals. Basically you'll look at the situation you're in through murals and you'll have a narrator expain what's going on. That's really cool.
But where this game really shines is in graphics and sound. Graphics are just gorgeous. You can tell when it's day, when it's night and when it's dusk. Also it really creates a middle ages feel. And the sound is great also.
the music really fits within the place. From the busy city of Bowerstone to the creepy marshes of Darkwood it just fits really well.
Gameplay is really simplistic. It doesn't cause any frustration when you are in battle. You have quick access to your bow, sword and magic abilities. You can also quickly eat and use potions in battle which is cool but makes it a bit more user friendly. Also it can get a bit stale sometimes.
Fable has some very noticalble flaws in it. The main quest is very short and will take you a matter of a couple days to finish. Also some of the reactions of people get screwed up sometimes. Like you can be the nicest person and some people will call you threatening.
But Fable is a very immerse game. You can get married, steal stuff, raid towns, save people from death you name it.
