This game is so freakin' good......

I first borrowed this game off of afriend, i was kinda sceptical, but it rocks! they way the tutorial kind of thing is split into when your a child, and then a teen is great, and it gives back story as well. there are some shortcomings, such as a short story, few story missions, not many items, etc, but the gameplay more than makes up for any of those. the lack of story missions is made up for ny all the openended fun stuff you can do, ie demon doors, treasure hunt, action figures, house ownership etc. the way your character kind of evolves is really cool as well, with the scars if you fight minus your armour, and the way your hair changes colour according to your alignment/age. the only real failing is the lack of ability to save mid mission, and keep your mission progress.
this game is visually stunning, although it does not look realistic, it reminds me of a kind of fairy tale sort of cartoon feel, every thing is either bright or dark, and the bright stuff positively shines, whereas the dark stuff really makes you want to finish those sections of the game asap, such as the dark swamp area, the grave yard, the grey house, the prison. i liked the way you could interact with the villagers, and the shopping system is great, especially the way you are able to get hair cuts and tattoos.
i really believe that this is a must have for everyone who can possibly get their hands on it.
