Okay maybe I'm expecting too much from this game. After all, Final Fantasy X is a tough act to follow. At 200+ hours it would be hard to beat. And maybe I'm expecting too much because of my Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver and Gold (that's where I said "enough") at 100+ hours each. And maybe I'm expecting too much because of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time which I played for around 30 hours But coming from a quality machine like the X-Box, with a quality format like DVD I figure I can get at least 20 hours out of a game and I couldn't even get that out of this game. Please tell me there's more. The graphics were great, the voice acting was superb, and the sound more than qualifies in my book but the length of the game just shoots the score right down. It might have been forgivable as in the case of God of War if the difficulty were higher or there were more extra features. I figured that there would be more side quests in the game; it seems like an easy solution to the game's problem (I don't suppose they could fit in a chocobo sidequest here or there by any chance? No? Okay)
Now, I know what you must be thinking after this session. Yes, I do have way too much free time which you probably figured by the 100 hours each on the Pokemon games. Well, in my defense I"m a very pretty guy (a dumb blonde if you will only I'm a brunette and I have a 3.5 GPA). Okay, I know this isn't a singles ad but it lets you get to know the person you're reading a little better and I still to this day have nothing better to do. Bye.
