Fable did live up to the hype.

Fable starts you off in your childhood, to do various mini quests to get the game started. You later wind up in a guild and learn your basic training. After your training its up to you if want to pick up a quest or just travel around and gain experience.

The Good

This game has a lot of good qualities, which is why its so popular.
Fable has not only the main quest to do, but you can also pick up a side quests from the guild, which are from people who need your help. You can also talk, to some people to start some side quests. Not only can you purchase armor and weapons in shops, but you can also buy things like beer and cider crates to take to other towns for a better price, kind of like trading. There is also bar games in each of the town bars in which you can win prizes if you achieve a high enough score. Fable is probably also most known for its ageing system, in which you gradually grow from a child to an adult. Also you can change your appearance with haircuts and tattoos, and when hit many times in battle you gain battle scars from the many foes you battle through out the game. The main part of this game is if you choose to become evil or become a savior. Every choice you make effects this. The last feature is that you can purchase homes, get married and receive presents from your wife if you show her affection.

The Bad

This game is short, and for such a fun game people would try to go through it fast, but would end up finishing it fast because of it. The game is a little bit easy at times which might not always provide a challenge.

The gameplay for this game is good, its easy to control and fun.

Graphics 10

In my opinion the graphics in this game are some of the best on the xbox itself, with realistic areas, houses, and the sky looks amazing.

Sound 9

In this game the voices are good, the collision sounds are good, and all the rest like monster growls, bells and alarms, etc.

Value 10

I think in the future fable will be considered a classic, because it did innovate some things, and is a very popular game.

Story 8

This game has a suiting fable kind of story to it , where you can be the hero that saves the land or the villain that terrorizes it.

Conclusion

Overall fable is one of my top favorite games, and I recommend this game to other people who like a good action rpg.
