Best of all the Fables and the best RPG of its time
Though some of the things in Fable could use a touch up. Such as the character's facial expressions and the system seems a bit unorthodox that you can buy out a town if you can successfully murder all its villagers. It also holds a few things you wish they forgot about and focused on something else, including the many expressions you can make for no reason at all.
Fable without The Lost Chapters just isn't complete, and those who have not played it cannot claim to have truly beaten Fable. For the ending tells of what became the hero after the aftermath of Jack.
The story of Fable is classic and nothing like anything that has come before it and I would encourage anyone who like a good book to get lost in the world Albion. For the world feels as though it's always alive, even in the dark of night.
Pro: Great Story, Morality System, Decisions Have Effect, Aging, Moving World
Con: Character Models, Linear, Pointless Features, Crime System
