It is what it is. Crate a character, make them good or evil. Would have been better with more gear, more creativity.
I wish there was more gear to make my character truly look the part of evil or good guy. I understand it's around the Victorian times, but some decent evil/holy armor would have been cool. I mean there are weapons that are obviously designed for each side (Rising Sun for good, Malestorm for evil as an example) I also wish I cold customize my guys better, such as giving them wings, different styles of horns, or a holy/shadow aura. It's also very cool that your dog changes as well according to your side.
The game can get repetitious. Go somewhere, beat up some bad guys, repeat. There are some cool side quests, such as the Gargoyle hunting (it is reminiscent of the Gold Skulluta quest from Ocarina of Time) Otherwise it's a good buy. Online is fun as well if you find a good partner.
