Gamespot nitpicked this game for what? Oversimplified combat? Bugs that are being fixed?
Graphics: Beautiful world of Albion comes back to life with all new textures for pretty well everything. I love the water reflections. Gives new life to Bower Lake and Marketplace. Spells look awesome and the spell weaving adds more beauty.
Sound: Again, the music is phenomenal! They add new scores and take some from the first Fable.
Game play: I love how this game plays, I always have. I'll admit that I've been disappointed with changes from game to game but that doesn't mean they are bad changes. I've grown accustomed to certain thing and to have them gone was frustrating. The combat is more fluent than ever. A very easy game to pick up and play even if you have no experience with Fable games.
Overall: Put all those things together and you have what is essentially my favorite Fable game. If they remade the 1st one with new graphics, controls, and a few more missions that would be the best but they won't do that. Don't trust what one person has to say about something, wait until you get a group reaction. Find common things that people like and dislike, then base whether or not to get the game on that.
