What The Heck!
For a start they should have kept the job mini games the same as fable 2, it was better and required more timming, the new jobs are mainly just button mashing.
Ok, I have finished the game and found the lack of choices to be terrible, I choose to do the good ending and I bought a lot (if not all) of property as soon as I could and left the prices normal. I made a fortune by the time I became king, though I did do all side quests to, I had around 17 million in my personal stash and just transfered it over so I was able to make all the good choice's and still save every one. I found this Pointless though as the only town that does not hate or fear me is Driftwood, I woulda been better off keeping my money and having an empty albion to roam round in, (I did kill a few innocent people on side quests but even after that no-one feared or hated me till the game was complete).
The weapons are pretty cool to look at but their is a few that have strange upgrade objectives to say the least, and the fact that you cant own them all unless you go online is rubbish as I refuse to PAY for XBOX LIVE whilst I can play online for free with my PS3, (I already pay my ISP £20 a month to get online, no way I'm gonna feed microsoft more money to play online, charges for extra content and downloads I understand but making people pay to have a "GOLD" account just to get on and play is redicules as it effectively means paying twice to get online - once to your ISP - once to Microsoft!)
Anyway on with the game, the characters in the main story were fine, funny at times to but the rest of the world was sh**, there was no connection to any of your frinds or your spose, infact all my spose did was wonder round town and take money off me, the dog was hopless to, I tended to find the treasure before he did and and still not once have I found the traning books to get his stats to level 3 never mind 4 or 5.
Taking away the menu's was a big mistake, I like to press pause and look at what I have at any given moment, and I way prefer shop menu's to.
Stats were weird to, mainly cause none of the wearable items told you how attractive you were or wernt, and dispite dispatching of over 300 people in ranged combat and getting all the gnomes my stature is still only 1 star (it is hard to miss with auto aim, and I got all gnomes and ranged flit switches in 1 shot).
The end of the main quest is terrible, the last battle is short and easy, took me under 7 minutes to do it, and the final cinamatic is PANTS very probably the worst I have seen!
I only have a few achivments left to get, and I cant get em all cause 1-2 require you to go online which I wont, so I will get the one's I can And trade the game, anyone thinking about buying this game I advise NOT to, it is a huge step down from fable 1 and 2 and in my view NOT worth even a rent. If you still want it because you want to play online then get the PC version, NO xbox gold to pay to play it online!
