BRING BACK JACK OF BLADES AND THE HEROES!!!
The fable franchise has so much potential and has really great ideas but fails to deliver on them. They need more development, alot more to make them work as they should. E.g. the morphing weapn idea was Fantastic though it's not how it should be. Your forced to fight certain enemy types at the start so everyone gets the same morph. your weapon has four morphs and only morphs when you upgrade you meele or gun skill on the road to rule, which is just annoying and all your weapons morph at once, not just the one you were using which is wrong, I wanted to have a variety. Why not have your weapon morph constantly, but then have a lock mode so that if you dont want the weapon to morph anymore, you can so. The road to rule is the new way in whih you gain xp, instead its now called guild seals. The idea is pretty much pointless as you really only get them through quests, not killing, and you can't just keep leveling up, you have to progress in the story and there is NO variety in leveling, there are only 5 magic skills, some which you can only get towards the end of the game. Why not keep the spells from Fable 1 to keep everyone happy.
The game is not challenging at all!, it's far too easy. And for Gods sake, bring back Jack of Blades and the heroes. Jack was an awsome villain, this game has no villain, Logan is not a villian, u rarely see him, he says about 4 lines through out the whole game. Fable 1 was great because when you fought against the other heroes, it made you feel better and more powerful. BTW the areana has gone. being the king is nothing special, there is not one choice in the whole game where you think, what should i do, except for the first choice, to an extent. Morality is also far too unbalenced, its hard to get good points yet too easy to get evil. The game is far too dumbed down and focused more so on sales, rather than making a great game. make it harder and more challenging. Trust me I could go on forever with whats wrong but it still manages to be a worth while game, then I saw the ending and was like oh my God, that ending was Cheesy, Crap, and just stupid. Fable 4 should really have alot of attention, even if it takes 3 or more years.
I know im sounding really negative and there are some great things like the sanctuary is a great idea and works perfectly but these great ideas need to be seriously amped up and also needs more fantasy in it like fable 1 which grabbed everyones attention.
End note: rent it and see what you thing, though you'll probably cmplete in that time and wont want to play it anymore
