don't believe what the hardcore gamers say, this is a fun title once you get into it
the story itself isn't anything special, and is quite short, also the second part of the game isn't half of the story as peter molyneux stated but with that said this game is brimming with hours of extra game play outside the story, collect flowers, books, destroying gnomes and gathering all those keys as well as
opening all the demon doors will keep you going for much longer. also what ever moral path you choose doesn't really effect the story, but does dictate how difficult the king part of the story is.
as usual fable delivers nice looking environments, with background music to match which all contribute to deliver a great atmosphere, whether your roaming a peaceful village or battling hordes of hollow men.
the combat system is very simple and easy to use which in some ways makes the game quite easy if your a hardcore gamer, but for the casual gamers its defiantly makes the game more access-able
the dog returns in fable 3 but is more of an annoyance than in fable 2, constantly glitches, barks for a dig spot and gets stuck for 20 seconds in some rocks, also the dog is not really incorporated into the story like it was in fable 2 which i feel takes away some of the emotion you may have had for the dog in fable 2.
once you have done the main story its quite enjoyable doing all those other quests and upgrading your legendary weapons, and for me that's really where the game shines, this is where you can enjoy hours of endless fun
so that's why for me i give this game such a high rating just because its fun and easy to play, and the only people who wont like that are those bloodthirsty hardcore gamers who love their games to be really hard
