Why doesn't Lionhead studio go back to the original ways of Fable?

Here's my reason why Fable 3 is a game just for the millions. Because people who loved the original Fable, such as myself, will be sucked into buying this game. You would think they would make it better then the ORIGINAL Fable, but they didn't. Though I must admit, this game is alot better then Fable 2. But even Fable 2 wasn't very good either. But there was still a MAJOR thing that Fable 1-2 had but was removed from Fable 3 . Here's my reasons why Fable was such a let down.

*WARNING SPOILERS*
There is no challenge in this game, and there aren't very many differnt kinds of monsters you can fight. Just stupid shadows mostly that are extremely easy (Mashing the B button will easily take care of the awfully easy shadows) . The only monster that is pretty cool on the game is the Sentinial, but thats it. Its like that was the only monster they worked hard on, and got lazy and didn't make any more cool monsters. When I play RPGs, I want to fight huge bosses that are a challenge, and most of you that play RPGs will probably agree with me on that.

The dark crawler looked pretty cool, but they screwed up and just made him go into your Walter's body and you fight your Walter instead, and when you kill Walter, the game is over. (Oh, and he wasn't very hard either). And the main thing I hated about Fable 2-3, is that you can't lose. What the hell is up with that? You can't die, you just get knocked out and get only just get a scar. It made me mad when I found out you can't die in Fable 2, but they put that in Fable 3 also, which was extremely dissapointing. But in Fable 1, you can die, which made the game alot more funner, instead of the stupid scaring idea. Sure, sometimes you would have to reload a checkpoint and lose some progress, but thats what makes games fun. It makes you never want to die, just like in real life (Duh). They shoulden't spoon feed you and say "Oh, play this game you will never die, have fun". Just no...

Oh, and Fable 2 wasn't good on the monsters either, but at least they had big trolls that you could fight. Those things were beast. But on Fable 3, they removed them from Albion (Aperently Logan had a mission to kill them all and succeeded, which just sounds like a lazy excuse not to work on any big monsters). They removed one of the best monsters from the fable series, and now Fable has no crazy creatures you can fight or at least challenging. Which means I'm never going to buy another Fable again, unless they bring back big bosses. RPGs SHOULD have big bosses that are intence to fight. Fable 3, however, failed to do that.

Also, Fable 1 is the best Fable and still is the best Fable, why don't they just go back to the original ideas from Fable 1 and stop screwing up the Fable series every time Lionhead studios make a sequal. Fable 1 had so many differnt fun bosses (Even though they were still a bit easy, but they will still harder then the bosses on Fable 3... Oh wait, what bosses). And Fable 1 had alot of cool armour and weapons for you to find. On Fable 2, it pretty much had no armour, unless you got the expansions, then you can get really lame ugly armour. But on Fable 3 they only had a couple cool armour, which is alot better then Fable 2. Also on the plus side, you can change the colour of anything you wear in Fable 3, and theres plenty of colours to chose from.

I can't believe I wasted $70 bucks on this game. The only thing this game is good for is the replay value of collecting stuff, getting the acheivments, and finding and destroying the Gnomes. (Which is why I had fun playing Fable 2.) But even some of the achievements are awkward to get, like you have to make a baby with someone eles online, or dancing with your online friend and make you feel ashamed of playing this dissapointing game just to open up a demon door.

So if you were ever thinking about buying this game, I suggest you don't. Unless your a real Fable fan, then get it. But you will be dissapointed.

I have all the Fables so far, but I doubt I'm ever going to buy another one again. Fable 1 is still is the best Fable, and makes me ever wonder if they will go back to the original ideas of Fable and make a game that will better then Fable 1 (Which I doubht). Then Fable 2 came and it should of been better, but it wasn't even close to as good (Which was extremely disspointing). And now Fable 3, which isn't worse then Fable 2, but still isn't even close to as good as Fable 1. Oh, and at least in Fable 2 they had cool trolls you can fight.

But Fable 3 isn't just all bad.
- Gnomes and silver keys are still fun to find, and to make it better they added rare gold keys, and plants to find in the desert.
- No more sharing a screen in co-op, which makes online better to play.
- Good graphics.
- Still fun to explore and look for things.
- The job mini-games are better.

Thats about it, but its still not worth $70. And its still a dissapointing game because of all the flaws.
