Fable 3 is a good example of breaking something that was already broken
beware: Minor spoilers...
Things I liked:
1. Battle system feels smoother than fable 2
2. graphics are great
3. bigger areas to explore
4. more stuff to find
5. going on dates
6. story was better than fable 2's terrible story
7. cooler LOOKING weapons
Things i HATED:
1. glowing trail is BROKEN. doesn't work most of the time
2. Removal of RPG elements (NO START MENU/less items/no healthbar/no experience)
3. Lack of defining your own character. Terrible good vs evil system compared to Fable 2's ground breaking morality
4. story still is kinda lame
5. becoming king BLOWS. I don't wanna play an ECONOMICS game. i wanna play fable. every dumb moral decision once you become king has NOTHING to do with morals and all to do with money!!! WTF?????
6. NO MAP. I DONT KNOW WHERE I AM
7. Approval of villagers is STUPID and BROKEN. I had to rake up the prices of houses and shops for the ****** and once i was done, lowered the prices to low and they all still hate me and i must do STUPID quests to get their approval. F YOU I AM KING.
8. not enough variety in quests. You will repeat the same 3 quests outside of the main story: "Bring villager here, go get this item for this villager, go defeat these monsters!"
9. I cant choose what expressions to do to any person. WTF. Worst step backwards in gaming HISTORY. Now i must dance with every man in albion to get their approval. NO THANKS.
10. Slow-mo makes battles TERRIBLE and BORING. TOO MUCH slow-mo makes my battles feel stutter-like
