Very much worth it if you're a newbie to Albion. If you're not, it'll disappoint.

The game doesn't have as much substance as the last 2 fables did. And neither does it have a long story line. If sort of forces you to choose between good and evil towards the end, and without giving any spoilers I just wanna conclude that it makes you REGRET being good, and unsatisfied if you're evil. Unless you have a lotta time in your hands and have a lil real estate magnate in ya, it'll be hard to be good towards the end of the story. The story feels more personal than before, and the hero of this tale has a more sociable and human nature than the previous fables did. They removed a lot of stuff that the old ones have (such as hiring mercenaries, fishing, lot's of expressions that the old heroes had etc.) but they also added a few new ones such as buying and repairing houses, weapons that morph based on your actions and marrying another gamer's characters just to name a few (yes, you can marry and have a kid with another gamer's toons...exhilirating as it may be). The combat system is flashy at times, but they drastically removed the number of spells and also removed any form of "targetting" system for the sword/hammer...which is just annoying. Furthermore, they removed the menu system to make you waste more time on the game...you actually have to physically be inside a room they created called the sanctuary, where your character walks around and picks out what he wants to wear, use or do. Kinda like a hub. All in all...just beat this once and shy away if you're not following the fable franchise, this one is lacking.
