To be honest, at first I didn't like Fallout 3 at all, but after a while of playing it I fell in love with it, it really grew on me. Okay, first off I would like to talk about the story, to be honest I thought that it was very good, but oddly enough a lot of reviewers said that Fallout 3's story was mediocre, well I have to disagree with them on that one. Yes the story may be very simple, but when you dissect it and take away all the weight (like having to complete side quests in order to progress further thru the story), it is a very well-done story that also happens to have a lot of meaning to it, it's not just another throwaway story here people, it's much better than that. In fact, Fallout 3's story in and of itself is good enough to use for a movie adaptation. Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about the choice-making options the game has to offer, overall it's the best I've seen since the original Deus Ex, and that's majorly impressive, not to mention it's a neat touch the way the leveling system offers only certain upgrades, depending on whether you were good or bad, let's just say to get your hands on all the upgrades you'll have to play thru the game at least twice. That's another thing, Fallout 3's outcomes of good and evil choices is so diverse that the game almost demands that you play thru it more than once just to see how the different outcomes will vary, it also opens the door to unlocking more achievements. Overall Fallout 3 is an astonishing game that no gamer should be without, and if you want the most out of your gaming experience then you should (if you don't already own it) absolutely do yourself a favor and go out and buy it, because when it comes to truly immersive entertainment, Fallout 3 is hard to beat.
