Point Lookout feels like a horror movie, with deformed hillbillies being the main antagonist, truly a most have!

User Rating: 8.5 | Fallout 3: Point Lookout X360
First thing you'll notice in Point Lookout is the drastic change in landscape, whereas the Capital Wasteland is more like a desert, Point Lookout actually feels like a swamp, there are trees, much more vegetation than the CW, and of course the enemies.

The enemies in PL are some of the most amazing and funny i've encountered in a video game, they deliver the actual feeling of the hillbillies of legend, it's clear they breed amongst family, you can confirm this by hearing them say things like: "Cousin, you there?" and other games sources also confirm this ("I is gonna kill ya" another great line).

The few buildings that appear in PL seem to have been taken of an horror movie like Amityville, and such.

But most important of all, is Desmond, this british ghoul will be your main quest giver in this region, but apart from that, he is a great character, pity its story wasn't a bit longer, for he is the raison d'ĂȘtre of the entire story arc.

You'll enjoy yourself, earn a few achievements, feel a nice change in Fallout, because everybody gets tired of seeing the same landscape of the CW at some point.
