DC never looked Better!

So the beginning of the game is a not that great, but that is forgivable because it is a good way to get introduced to the game and some of the menu screens. Here you pick your name, features, and take a test. Yea even in a game you can't escape a test that will tell you what your going to do for a living. So once you finish the test and leave the classroom, the action starts. Your stupid p.unit(parental unit) leaves without saying a thing. So you now have to fight your way out of the vault. Once out your blinded by the sun for a little, but then the fun starts.

You'll meet many people and things that talk. That's great and all, but just exploring the area is the best part of the Fallout game. DC has never been more exciting. From seeing a talking tree, to the White House, to Capital Hill in ruins. It makes the game come to life. Each building is very detailed outside and inside.

The story will take you around 10 hours to get through, but the real time sucker is all the side quest and exploring you'll do. And if you don't explore then you're missing out. The game can turn into a 40 hour game with the side quests and exploring the Wasteland from top to bottom. Sometimes you'll feel safe and the next thing you know something will attack you and kill you, why? the radio was on and they heard it. So now you'll be more cautious and turn the radio off till you know it's safe out there.

The music in the game may repeat and the voice over may get old, but the music is great. The Ink Spots make the setting seem very real and very eerie at the same time. Just walking alone in the wasteland with the radio on does not make you feel safe.

The Weapons sound great and are in need of being repaired, which makes you think of what you use and how often you use a weapon. There are plenty of weapons in the game, but the more exciting ones are the ones you can make from a blueprint.

If you feel that the game is still to short for you, there is the new game of the year edition which includes all the expansion DLC for the game. But if you love RPGs and need a fix then Fallout 3 is it. It will make you feel great for spending the money and won't let you go once you start it up.
