VATS is by far the coolest way to approach combat in a shooter, allowing for both a tactical and run-and-gun style of gritty urban warfare coupled with the RPG aspects of character development combine to create a epic and rewarding experience. I've played both Morrowind and Oblivion and Bethesda has shown growth both in terms of great games and great DLC and I'm so looking forward to Jan. thru Mar. for the new stuff. This game kicks ass so just go out and play it 'nuff said. Watch out for Super Mutants...
