Nearly lawless and destroy by nuclear Holocaust, FallOut 3 is but a grim reminder of what Washington DC used to be.

FallOut 3
Review

Imagine living your entire life inside a closed sterile metal and concrete fortress deep underground. Now Imagine waking up in an alien world where the sun hurts your eyes, the air is filled with the stench of rotting human bodies killed by some mutated creature that did not exist 200 years ago. At every turn you see crumbling destroyed buildings and highways, abandoned automobiles scattered across a barren harsh landscape, and little fresh water to quench your burning thirst. One blink and you're being attacked by a gang of merciless inhabitants trying only to survive in this new horrifying post-apocalyptic world
This imagined world is what FallOut 3 brings to you. As you emerge from your home, known as vaults, the wastelands of Washington DC is yours to play as you see fit. During missions you will be able to choose which path to take. You can play as the bad guy or the good guy. There's plenty to do in the wastes. Discovering new towns, other locations, and lost technology can all be done while battling mutate creatures and roving bands of killer gangs.
There are an endless variety of weapons at your disposal, from shotguns and rifles to plasma pistols and swords. Food and supplies can be bought, found, or stolen. The choice is yours to make. The over- arching plot of the game is to acquire fresh water for all wastelanders or just for a few privileged. Again, the choice is yours.
Game mechanics are pretty stable. The battle mode allows the player to be more precise when targeting an enemy. Sometimes the game will freeze up on you. So I suggest a manual save after a particularly hard battle or long journey. It's easy to log 100+ hours with this game. It's quite addictive and curious at the same time.
If you like epic games, definitely add to your library.
