this game has all the good bits of rpg and fps and leaves out all the sloppy parts
fallout 3 has bypassed the genres of rpg and fps it is a hybrid of both of these genres. this game makes you have real feelings for each of its characters. the game is a perfectly right free roam exploration in a game where you can control most choices in the game.
CHARACTERS
the characters in this game make you have real feelings and make you feel like they are real people even if they are just NPC's. the characters change depending on your actions in the game some will speak to you diffrently and some may just completely disappear.
GAMEPLAY
this game has excellent rpg and fps elements all put together into a perfect mixture. the shooting in the game is helped by the V.A.T.S system which is assisted aim. the dismemberment factor in the game is excellent as it is possible to aim at any body part on the creatures in the game. the free roam element of the game brings forth a better version of an rpg without the annoying random battles but still gives an excellent free roam ability of the rpg games but without the annoying random battles. the ability to change every look of your character is another excellent addition to an rpg game. being able to change your quest anytime you want is a good addition although it has been used before but it is still an excellent inclusion.

if i was to make a conclusion in one sentence about this game i would have to say this game is worth all the money you pay and more.
