The start is a little slow. This however makes your wanderer feel like he/she is growing into an untoppable force. The combat is great. V.A.T.S. makes every kill seem like an epic conflict, especially with bloody mess. On the other hand not using V.A.T.S. dosent feel like using a gun so much as using a bow and arrow in Oblivion. There isnt a real problem with this it is just a little odd. Graphicly it is astounding. However the game has a tendacy to produce these wierd polygons. More often than not this is just a triangle that makes a line from the center to the corner of the screne. The worst case of this I had seen was a huge brown hexagon in a city. That only lasted a few seconds. the game is also extremly addictive. You can complete the main quest and still play it forever.
If you buy this game you almost have to buy broken steel. It lets you freeplay after beat the final quest. It also ad 10 levels to your charcters progresion.
