So much hype for this game. It doesn't take long to realize this game is getting more media attention than it deserves. Another typical day of the world I guess.
This is my first experience of the series. I had so much fun playing GTA5 and The Witcher 3, I rated them both 10/10, which is only 3/60+ games I've ever rated.
Despite many complaints, the graphic is nice (8.5/10), especially true for landscape.
Music is good (8/10), it has some very good songs but the playlist is kind of repetitive because of few songs.
The story is kind of pointless (4/10), you wake up after 200 years and the first thing comes to your mind is to look for your son, which you don't know how long he has been kidnapped, whether he's dead or alive.
Gameplay (5/10): There is no sense of emergency, despite your son went missing, you go around looting and saving the world days to days. To make things worse, you can't help but feel you are the only one that do something in the world. Everyone just sit back and ask you to solve their problems. And the money they pay you is not even close to the cost of ammo you spend. Yet the ammo is every where. You can barely walk 10 meters without someone trying to kill you. AI is stupid, bosses are merely different by their ability to take hits (armor), they will certainly not outskill you, only outstrength you by a wide margin. Your companion always stay at the wrong place at the wrong time, they choose weapon poorly (given they have many choices in the inventory). Your companion will not hesitate to throw a grenade in your face if you stand near the enemy.
There is no effective cover system in combat so you end up using medic (aids) like kids eating sweets.
Pip-boy is a mess, it is always stacked with hundred of items that you need. There are too many items, so many items server similar purposes. You need to carry all of them for some reasons.
Conversations don't make much sense, especially when you don't follow the order the developer assumes you to.
Bug, the game is full of bugs, and they are everywhere, simply too many to list.
