Even the good reviews are saying this is a bad fallout game, worst of all it's the next big fallout game and from Bethesda we won't be seeing another for 6 years or so. This is not a new Vegas situation, i could understand and even if i did not like the game be somewhat supportive knowing they were trying something new if it was a side project.
They are using the fallout brand to try and suck you in, but without that attachment why would you care who the brotherhood of steel are? they are all dead, you don't get to talk, see the members, join them or have one of them as a companion.
This is an early access survival game, forcing paid mods in a Bethesda game, trying to kill mods in their game by limiting it to next year with only a new character, it's a cash grab with the fallout brand tied to it to make it sell. Now to the game itself, fallout setting without the story, you go on boring generic mmo quests where you know you have 0 impact on the world, because of the lack of npcs. There is a horrible feeling of emptiness in the game play because nothing you do matters. I am not helping anyone, I'm not saving a colony, siding with Caesar against the new California republic, this dead guys note told me to do a thing, i got a message from a computer to escort a robot and kill the stuff. Just feels empty and soulless.
Might i add a buggy mess? and is no one saying how much this is just re-texture of fallout 4? only reason fallout/ Bethesda games are amazing visually is the mods which are again not here for another year, even though people have already started to mod the game, modding your game could get you banned, and Bethesda is insensitivity with micro transactions to ban you if you mod your game.

Great for exploration but don't expect anything else.
This is a bad fallout, bad game, bad story and bad game play, cash grab, and goes against everything Bethesda stood for, but good exploration, if that is what you want, i suggested other survival games.
Do not support this game, it tells Bethesda they can get away with this, remember when they tried and pushed paid mods? this is them going for attempt number 3.
also watch out for good review bombs, this is at best a 4 out of 10 game due the world they built if not for that it would be a 1.
