Fallasleep 76 is #NotMyFallout

User Rating: 1 | Fallout 76 PC

Buggy broken quests + laughable stash size + constant bombardment and inundation with notes and holotape recordings + zero NPCs + constant graphical glitches including assets popping in and out of existence = one complete waste of time and money.

This is a completely unacceptable state for a AAA developer's game to be in upon launch. There is absolutely no excuse for this. Bethesda has seemingly forgotten what has made them special over the years. They got a free pass back when they were known for pushing the limits of what was possible in game development, now it just feels like they're chasing trends and resting on their laurels as Todd Howard slaps another coat of lipstick on the rotting corpse that is the Gamebryo game engine. Fallout 4 was also a shit show, but at least modders could fix what Bethesda screwed up. Modding for Fallout 76 is at least a year out into the future, and that's if it ever gets supported at all. One major thing I've learned over the years is never to take Todd "It just works" Howard or Pete "I'm not the lore guy" Hines at their word. Their promises and reassurances are absolutely worthless and they can't be trusted. Just know that they'll tell you whatever you want to hear just to get you off of their asses.

This is a laughable transparent cash grab. Since Bethesda isn't supporting mods for at least a year people will be forced to spend money on microtranscations. This is what Bethesda has wanted ever since they pushed the idea of "paid mods", then resurrected the failed idea with "creation club", this is just the fully realized version of what they've been working toward for half a decade.
