Fallout 4 was my first experience with this franchise and while it was fun, it was not as good as the experience Skyrim gave me. I expected this game to be a fantastic mix of Skyrim and Fallout 4, but Bethesda took the concept of having a mysterious post-apocalypic wasteland and removed all the characteristics it could have. Everyone in this world is DEAD (no NPCs) and everyone in Vault 76 is another player. You don’t even have vault characters to bond with?! Your story takes place within Holo-tapes that you listen to and computers you find throughout the world with text upon text written by people you’ll never form bonds with. Same mechanics as Fallout 4 but worse. VATS are useless since you are playing on a multiplayer server and can’t slow down time, which also applies to the Pip Boy’s usefulness in combat. Multiplayer seems like it could be fun but also seems to make the game waaay easier and takes away from the immersion. After playing around 2 hours and picking up on these faults, I went to YouTube to see what others were saying. I love you, Bethesda, but this is a concept that should never have been supported and should never be repeated (aka bring none of this to our precious Elder Scrolls 6!). Spyro or Red Dead are much more worth your time and money!
