Fallout 76: how to ruin one of the best game series

User Rating: 2 | Fallout 76 (Tricentennial Edition) PS4

I have been a fan of the Fallout series since 1998. I rarely play games and my choices usually lead me only to the best ones with open worlds (e.g., RDR1/2, Witcher, etc).

A month ago, following a tradition, I ordered the Tricentennial edition of Fallout 76 for the holidays. And what a surprise and a huge disappointment. I now have a stitched-up, buggy, ugly* and stupid knockoff of a world-famous franchise called Fallout.

No story, no introduction, no intrigue... just a foolish game when you run around in circles not knowing what the hell you are doing while eventually meeting other lost souls (other online players).

I am amazed at Bethesda's shortsightedness. I am not sure what was the reason to convert a jewel of a game to the next shallow online blip on the map, but the results are so reprehensible that a man can hardly believe.
