Fallout: New Vegas is a great game. I have yet to run into any of the "disastrous" bugs discussed in the review. The story and exploration is compelling, and there's more action this time around. The landscape is varied and gigantic and a blast to explore. VATS is still a satisfying way to off your enemies, and the new faction system is interesting, even if it doesn't make a lot of sense at times. And so far, the missions are very unique and creative, i.e. at one point you have to don a beret to let a sniper know that the dude who's walking with you is the person who killed said sniper's wife. Very fun stuff. The graphics are great, the sound is great, and the controls are just like Fallout 3. If you loved Fallout 3, like I did, you'll love Fallout: New Vegas. Trust me. It's a triumphant follow-up to one of my all-time favorite games and it is most definitely a must-buy.
