I'm going to make this short. If I don't end this review quickly my blood pressure will go sky high and I'll feel like crap. Like I do when playing this game. It had the potential to be an amazing game but failed in every way, notwithstanding the great environmental graphics.
The graphics are what made me interested in the game, that and I thought it would be cool to explore a virtual African country stuck in a civil war.
The story ended up being nonsensical and the gameplay was borderline tedious. I ended up cursing at the screen "Where the @@@@ are you guys coming from??" The spawning enemies are so unrealistic. I'm sorry if you put all the work into clearing out a checkpoint or a bridge you want to be able to return to the point and not have to do it right over again.
And the country is supposed to be at civil war, yet the only one you'll see being attacked is YOU. You can be doing missions for a faction and their mercenaries will go after you with a vengeance. Nothing made sense, ever.
So much wasted potential...
